Malen 1959 Journal June 8-11 Barrow, Alaska. Four last days. Waited to get out of Pitmegea River. Finished camera set up on Monday + finished packing. From then on simply snooped about. Wednesday we were on deck but finally rubbed because of weather, at the Pitmegea. Thursday we actually got off the ground, but at Beach Bay - in '4 hours out Bobby turned back. The weather was pretty thick. June 12 Pitmegea River, m. Alaska. Off the ground at Barrow at 9:55.
