Makers 1959 Langph Terandrus June 25 1000 to 1500 went by Valley in morning. I saw none upstream beyond Willow Creek. Saw 20 at the bend across from creek on way out + 47 in same area when I came back. All resting - some lying on side - few grazing in sedge. June 26 Carbon thrilly scattered about today. 56 on East side of River morning 5 females nine. 5-3 on West side in one bottom 220 on [illegible] west side feeding down Wolverine ridge toward river. 22 resting on ridge on E side of Delta marsh. 150 on N. flank Bear Tnt. Some groups were moving U. along Bear Tnt. 6 others moving Eward as mentioned above. Very leisurely - resting for most part. July 19 Saw several Carbon yesterday, 2 across river in afternoon. 3 across river in evening 5 others on far ridge + 7 on distant ridge. Today, 2 on ridge across river, 2 in Leon Marsh. + 3 across river in marsh near mouth. Group of 30 Carbon headed SE across river in late afternoon.
