Sagornis pereche
may26 Pitmegea River. One seen on island in
delta of river. It flew up to me landed
3 feet away for a few seconds & then
flew off. I followed it for 50 yds or so while
it kept just ahead of me.
June 23 Pitmegea River. Nest w/ 5 eggs on
falcon cliff some 3 miles upstream &
across river from camp. Nest in tiny
rock pocket scarcely larger then nest
about 12-15 feet above river.
