Makers 1959 Acis flammeus July 9 (cont.) below the band of C. vag. tucoed timber which runs along the ridge. Hunted my down in carex marsh below & my first edge but not over the tucoed stuff. 5:00am march flew over, + made one pass at this pt. He responded by one brief slapping announcement + continued hunting. Loon march & landed + remained on ground near where encounter. Paak place for 15 min 2:00. Owl flew in + landed in marsh nest Nest #3 far out from ridge. Found nest with 7 chicks; a little farther along the nest #2 1 & moves at nest edge. Again--no pellets + few feathers about nest. Earlier in day a & 1 owl seen hunting between Earlel Slough + Willow- Creek. July 10 Nest #2, weighed chicks. Three = nicastus reconomous still at nest. 2 ad & 1 Subad &. Feathers of Longepper. Collected same. July 12 Owl W. of Pom. #3, have seen the pain before. I made pass at pomeiner 2x. I walked this area. At one spot of fluv't ground, made loud "antique" hissing noise --was hidden behind tucoed. After a while I flew, I found nothing. As I returned to that spot.
