Maher 1959 Aair flammens June 22 (Cord) On way in at 6:38 PM by owl between Camp & Owl ridge - he flew over ridge along it. Appeared flying along owl ridge on E side. Halted. June 24 Checked nest at 8:30 PM. Seven eggs. I remained on nest until I was 10 feet away. Flew about me clicking her "teeth". No mouthing heavily. Some good owl observations in late afternoon & early evening. Owl W. of Ridge # flying - announcing by clopping wings. Owl along E side ridge doing same. Owl far S. across Barbel slough. Another for N. across drainage way. This one also announced. This give 4 Ten. males. One W. of Ridge II; - Two E. of Ridge 2, Three across Barbel slough & W. of its fork, + Four W. of Pomerine Territory July 7 Checked nest for first time since Ireland, at noon today. Eggs are gone - no sign of eggs or of female. Wonders if she could be a casualty of the pomerine invasion. No foxes, bears, wolves, or wolverines have been seen. July 8 Flushed owl near LT#5, near stream, from a polygon at tall arctogents - this area of suspected owl nest. Another owl flushed
