Nytter scandrain May 25 Three miles seen widely spaced out in an area 2 miles SW of camp. No sign of roots as far as I could tell. They were well spaced out - about a mile apart in a drainage way which showed unusually heavy movement signs. May 30 Pete Swell reported seeing one at Nunwal Slough. July 20 Two snowy owls were seen along edge of tundra near ocean. Their first 2 seen since one shared by the parantria qaqqu about a week ago. Both owls sitting - separated by 1/4 mile, July 28 One Owl seen on ridge near Parantrii #2, flaw off & was seen later near shore toward cabin. Aug 4 Snowy Owl on flint ridge. Flew toward ocean when flushed. Aug 5 Snow Owl along shore, probably same as above.
