Crenicichla pumila June 17 Heard 2 displaying in evening - the first I've heard in several days. June 23 Heard at least 2 displaying during day. Witnessed one in carex marsh across river. June 25 Nest found previously still with 4 eggs at 7:17. Many adults throughout day very agitated, chorting at me, flying about, etc., along river bars & bluffs of river valley. Could these chicks? Saw one perch in a 4 foot willow. July 18 Yesterday saw a flock of 4 adults courting one wet carex tundra. The first shore bird flock I've seen this year here. July 27 Only one seen yesterday - they are definitely down in numbers.
