Males 1959 Cluvichis dominicus June 20 Located nest of Golden Plover pair on ridge above camp. 4 eggs. There also seems to be 3 birds. One on this side of ridge who calls & the pair on far slope of ridge with the nests. Possibly the lone bird has a mate & there are 2 nests. June 21 Pair on Ridge II - nest located on far side South end, 4 eggs. June 23 Nest with 4 eggs on W side - middle of Ridge II. Second nest along this ridge. June 27 #3 - Clover nest empty parent about & reading w distinct display. Eggs have obviously hatched. July 18 Found one pair calling along ridge heading Towards Falcon rock. The pairs above text have gone in the past 2-3 days. July 22 Adulteron ridge this evening with 2 young. The young could just fly a few yards & were still quite down about the head, neck, or ventral side. July 28 Pair along S. end of parent #2 ridge, calling. Aug. 2 Saw one chick, fully feathered, on Ridge II. Also saw 2 fully grown chicks & one adult on Ridge III b. Aug. 5 Flock of large dark shorebirds, 25, probably Golden Plover
