Make. 1959 Journal Aug27 Peter Lake, Alaska. Bob Mein renamed overnight at Peter's. On 27 he made 2 shuttle flights to Barter Island with the gear from the Peter's flight. Late that afternoon he loaded up + Josh Ed Mueller + myself to Barrow. Spent the morning helping + move equipment into PEL building for storage and painting the building with yellow paint. The outside coat. On 26 we had moved 1 ton of ratgors nuts to the building + finished up the prime coat on all 3 of the buildings. Arrived at Barrow in evening about chow time. Found Karlah had .145 waiting for me. It was already late to return to condo on deadline- Make. I looked at it that evening but went to bed instead. Aug28 Barrow Alaska. Spent morning going over manuscript. After lunch went into field with Mike Daniels & Dick Helmes. Visited 2 pomme neets located in Barrow area. The debris been found until midday + only one had been fenced. Picked up pellets. In evening finished up abstract of paper.
