one squirrel which we picked up on the
way in. Made round of LT#4, Para #1,
Bom#2, LT#11 & Owl#3 & then just before
supper I got Para#3 & Owl#2. Only one
left in latter enclosure, also found one
chuk deal in Owl#3. Parent#1 is
flying.
Finally trapped to tent menu!
July 26 Litmegea River, Alaska
Cold, windy, foggy, rainy, lousy dog.
Except for trapping a few squirrels &
putting up the skin of a short-eared Owl
Did virtually nothing. The plane did
not come.
July 27 Litmegea River, Alaska
Snow flurries, cold, windy. Plane
did not come. Set traps in morning
wrote a couple of letters then walked up
nine a couple of miles and returned to
tent. After a snack which served as supper
I crossed nine, & walked to shore then
along shore to Lagoon, climbed Marmot
ridge went along that to a cairn on a
a point & returned overland to tent.
Got back at 10PM.
