6657 desig. x maxima below bridge where Corbould Pike crosses Stones River, 6 miles east of Una, Davidson Co. plants scattered in old cultivated field; typical stonensis and typical densiflora not seen to be present. Some evidence densicrii may be involved slightly. Intermediates include a range of flower color from yellowish white to whitish yellow. Most flowers in the population were on the white side; very few pure yellow and none that could be called orange-yellow. population extends about a mile along the flood plain of the river. April 26
