Barrow, Alaska Red Phalarope Stomach Analyses June 9 ♀ almost empty but has 5 yellowish Tripulid Larvae; 1 large Tripulid Larvae 3 Chironomid Larvae. ♂ 37 yellowish tripulid larvae ±50 Chironomid larvae. ♂ 3 Tripulid larvae; remainder digested ♂ 7 Yellowish Tripulid larvae; 15 Chironomid larvae; remains of ±10 Chrysemela adults ♀ ±50 Chironomid Larvae (red) ♂ ?# of fresh water snail. too far crushed to estimate #. ♂ ±75 Chironomid Larvae; 4 Tripulid Larvae ♂ ±50 Red Chironomid Larvae. ♂ 3 large Tripulid Larvae; small yellowish; ±30 Chironomid Larvae (red) ♂ 27 Chironomid Larvae (red).
