14 Afternoon in ridge plots. Overcast with strong (10-15 mph) east wind. Of interest was the adult leaf hopper found in can at frost scar locality...virtually all the birch trees left the top of ridge and the shoulders are rapidly becoming freed of snows. Tundra is quite dead brown in color, grass cutting of lemmings in evidence everywhere.
