Weather during count cloudy with wind from south-west Meter Plot No. 1 (futscan) Date July 17, 1952 H. Banns, Alaska Third Pool dries up so funnel traps moved to ditch and are out of picture now. Can count: 21 Trypulids. 5 Staphylinids. 11 small diptera (med. Funginids, Cecidae, midges etc). 6 spiders. 2 Muscoides Surface fauna: 17 muscid flies. 6 Ephydrids. 11 Funginids 30 Cecidae. 15 midges. 10 spiders. midges actual walking over ground and vegetation. replicates yielded in ave. 1 Trypulid per 8sq. meter. 90 Berlesse sample: 3 mm in Vicl 8x90 mm of Collembola 4 miter in 12 hr run - 24 hr run yielded 10 mm of Collembola 4 mites plus a few Diptera larvae, 9 Stapl and 2 ichneumona. 3+ Vegetation notes: Bittelka photocopied this in Kodachrome Remarks:
