Voth Crick. No sign of what could have killed her
was found.
Jun. 25 Five owls were observed resting on mounds.
Jun. 26 Eight owls were observed resting on mounds.
Jun. 27-Aug. 3 Owls seen regularly during this period. Beside
the owls associated with quite their own small
packets of owls that were regularly seen. This
would fly in on a perch for a week or so
and then move on. I think they would
break up and kill off all the Lemmings in
their area. On July 6 we studied one out
which had a pile of about 50 Lemmings
nearby. The owls that were present in powder
were consistently found on high ground.
Aug. 15-27 - The small flocks of owls seen are
remnants of breeding population the flocks
are gone, most of theirs been an immature
but are flying well.
