J.D. Hamilton 1965 Stercorarius parasiticus July 8 A pair of Parasitic Jaegers were observed in the Britton Area. July 10 A pair of this species were observed flying over the area N of Volschlag Slough. July 12 A pair was observed in the Barrel Area. July 20 A bird was observed flying over Gasline Ridge. July 21 A bird was observed in Carter Marsh. Another bird was observed on the W side of Elston Lagoon July 26 One bird of this species was observed flying along the beach at Duck Camp. Aug 3. Cpt. Thompson - One bird of this species was observed flying along the creek bottom. Aug 9-14. A pair of these birds, one light phase and one dark phase, seem to be established with a large territory constituting the valley in the vicinity of the camp. No nest or young were found. Aug 26. Barrow Alaska - One bird of this species was observed in the vicinity of Footprint Lake.
