L.B. Hamilton 1965 Solidus zlpinz June 24 is still to be seen. June 25 About 10 pair were observed. The flight display was observed several times. When the bird had other a flight display they have standing to lower their wings raised for 2 or 3 seconds. Sometimes only one wing is left up. June 26 Only three pair were observed but I didn't cover as much area as I usually do. Several flight displays were heard. June 27-Aug. 3 The Quails were busy with breeding activities during this period. Paul kept track of the breeding activities. The first quits hatched about only 12. I only saw young Quail once, I trapped them as birds XIV but... Aug 15-27 - On Aug 15, a very young bird was found with its parent on Beach Ridge. Since the mother collided it and squeezed it to death. Seventeen individuals mostly years later were seen after this. On the 23rd, a rather large flock was seen in the bays April.
