B. Hamilton 1965 Calidris birdii July 14 On, Birdi was seen on Grail Ridge. It gave no distinction display but the years have not been good. July 17 I walked through Bear Area but did not see any of this species. July 20 I was on Grail Ridge and it was empty. I might have heard this species in the low land to me. July 29 Two birds were heard on top at Bear Ridge near lake. It is like a bird. They both acted distracted as if they had young but no young could be found. July 20 A distressed bird on Grail Ridge.
