Coli dis fuscicollis J126 Two-three birds seen every day. J113 One bird seen at lake, Ilkerrill July 14 One bird seen on W side at N Mador bike. July 25 Two birds seen at lake, Ilkerrill. July 29 A female and two young were observed in wet grass field as S side of woolshed slough. The flush was very approachable and gave distraction display. July 20 Female and 3 young photographed when sun yielding. August One bird seen along herd near line, [illegible] June 15 One bird was observed flying over the With [illegible]. Three birds were observed feeding in the Beard Area. One bird was observed being chased by a Stradling in the air. By the second the Stradling was followed at about 20 ft by the bird. The Stradling called with the birds then settled and with the birds compacted and took heavy approach. The birds seemed to have a normal pattern. June 17 One bird was observed feeding in a paddock at standing water, in the Wither area. June 19 About a pair was observed in the Beard Area. The male seen after a rapid flight. In this display the bird flew with stiff wingtips called to the [illegible] and then settled on a long stick near [illegible].
