R.B. Ham, Hov 196, Pluvialis dominici July 5: Four were seen July 6: A flock of 24 Golden Plovers were observed on the N slope at Birch Ridge. July 8: One seen in Vail Area July 9: 10 were seen flying north to Footprint Lake. July 10: 50 were seen scattered about. July 11: 15 were seen around Lake Iliamna July 12: Aug 1 - Paired birds scattered about 75. tender with one or two loose flocks occasionally seen. The tibial young were found on July 20 and imprint on with their bristly yellow color. Aug 3: Cape Thompson - Two seen on N slope of hill to N of camp. 6 Two adults and an immature seen when previous ones were seen. The field where they were found was grassy Then, they used at Barrow. Aug 15-Aug 17 - Berry Alaska - Flocks of Plovers present with numbers decreasing gradually throughout the period. These flocks are made up mainly of immature birds which are quite yellow bristly. Only 3 adults were seen in this period.
