June 13 Barrow Alaska - A flock of about 75 of these birds
was observed flying N over the tundra at the W side

July 16 - Aug. 27 - Eiders were frequently seen flying N along Elson
Lagoon. This generally occurred with a following wind.
Generally they flew in flocks almost exclusively composed
of one species. The King Eiders outnumbered the Common
Eider about 5:1. Before the 3rd of August 15, flocks
were made up almost exclusively at M.I., After
I got back from Lap Thompson, Aug. 15, they were
made up almost exclusively of females or at least birds
in female plumage.
