769 Neotoma fuscipes (2) Silvine 1933. [illegible] Coyste Peak, at 3000 ft., Humboldt Co., Calif. Stuve 14, 1933 apparently quite scarce here - only two Taken so far! Trine #ws. 2764 - was Taken on log at least 20 yds from nest. Dr. Grinnell has taken one. Last suite out 3 live traps set at large stick houses in hazel thickets on fringe of timber, 3 were sprung (evidently by Cebus) I caught a peromyscus & the other was unsprung. And yet the nests seem to be occupied tho no fresh fecal matter is in evidence.
