in heavy stand of Black Oak, Yellow
Pine & Douglas Spruce asse!
The oaks predominated. It was the
fourth time the traps had been set
there.

Afee no. 2716 Taken at base of Smalls Doug.
Spruce in creek bottom year head. Five
Dense stand of Doug. Spruce of small size all
around. Trap baited with prune and bacon
rind.
No. 2742 was taken in same trap as
was 2716. Both were males - evidently
wandering individuals. Peculiar that both
shoemed have been caught in
the same trap. It was at the base
of two small Doug. Spruce trees -
which perhaps due to their proximity
gave made a natural "highway" for
a Glace from tree to ground.
