This trapline was expected to yield Zapus and water shrews but no soap. also strange that no Sous pacificus or Clethrionomys were taken at the log sets in timber. Populations of small mammals are low. all measurements taken by L. Grumell. 2813 Soex trowbridgii ♀ 119-55-13.5-4.5 6.2 gms. Taken at waters edge in small javan - Heavily wooded. (no embs.) 2814 Soex vagrans ♂ 104-46-17.5-4 x 3.8 gm. Taken at end of decayed log in frost. 2815 Soex vagrans ♂ (?) 98-39-12-4 x 5.5 gm Taken in dune grass see page area. 2816 Nestoma fuscipes ♀ 480-211-41-15 282.5 gms. Taken at red stick house in lazyle thicket on fringe of frost. (3 embs x 17). 2817 Nestoma fuscipes ♂ juv. 300-195-37-21 114.3 gms. as above - adjacent (10yds) rest.
