1931 ship - between Lutrine & Joy Cape.
(3) Aug. 1931 - young one seen (ascending to
C.S.S. Brower of Pt. Barrow) - Joy Cape
(4) A man who had lived for 12 years on
St. George Island had never remembered
seeing me - however one flew into
the Chartroom of the ship one night
while near the island in 1930 -
Latitude 57°.
5. Sept.16, 1931 - 100 seen off West Cape
St. Lawrence Is.
6. Sept.17, 1931 - 1000 seen off Boxer
Bay, St. Lawrence Is.
7. Sept.22, 1931 - few seen 29 miles S.E.
of Nome.
8. Sept.29, 1931 - few seen 12 miles S.W.
of Slidge Island.
9. Oct.15, 1931 - 30 in sight at Cape York
& birds continued to be present
until the boat reached Cape Prince
of Wales.
