Gilmoe RANGIFER GRANTI 1931 Sept. 15. Unalaska Is, Alaska, Aleutian Is. From Albert Olsen I gathered the following information: Grant's Caribou are very common in Unalaska Unimak Is, & the sud of the Alaska Peninsula. They were so plentiful that several years ago several thousand perished during a severe winter. That number applies both To the island and the mainland.
