Gilmore Gulo (2)
1931 and as far as he knows or has heard
during his 24 years in the country,
only one has ever been taken on
Glomiah Is.
When hungry they will enter shacks
and shanties looking for food and will
raise hell with any fun they find,
tearing it all to pieces. Olsen [illegible] says
he knows of a wolverine entering a
house of his thru a broken out window
pane at least 6' from the floor, and
accomplishing the feat without breaking
the other panes in the same window.
When very hungry, they will attack
porcupine but often come out proud
best in the extremiter.
He states that wolverine are com-
mon on the Kamchatka Peninsula in
Siberia where he stayed from 1904-7.
