581 Gibmore MUSTELA RIXOSA 1931 June 16. Nome Alaska. H.d. Mason bought a few skins of this tiny weasel in Nome for 50ยข apiece. Aug. 26 Kotzebue, Kotzebue St. Alaska I didn't notice any skins of least weazels in the trading stores. Sept 15 Unalaska, Unalaska Is. Alaska, Alcuations Is. From Albert Olsen, it seems that least weasels are quite common on the end of the Alaskan Peninsula. He states that they inhabit his shacks and in the winter time he catches them just to be rid of them. They seem to be only 5-7 inches in length.
