they halted suddenly in their flight
and lit on some nearby rocks above
me. Another flock of 15 or 20 flew
down the mountain from the summit
to me. They uttered a clear slow
limpid chirp as they flew aimlessly
about.
Oct. 21 No. 2285 was alone when taken
on the side of the rocky ridge & the
N.W. Generally these birds are in
flocks & rarely are found alone.
