345 Galmne Pacific (Rodger's) Fulmar 1931 Oct. 2 English Bay Priest Rock, Unalaska Bay-Unalaska Is., Aleutian Is., Alaska About 2 dozen (chief dark & half white) were seen today just east of Priest Rock at the S.E. end of the Unalaska Bay. The water was only moderately rough and the scatting birds were evidently feeding. Oct. 7 Akutan Pass, E. Aleutian Is. While crossing the rough waters of the strait today I saw about a dozon Fulmars among the moderate (some thousands) flocks of Slender Billed Shearwaters. I only noticed two dark colored birds, tho there might have been more which I could not distinguish from Shearwaters at two distance. Oct. 26 Akutan Pass E. Aleutian Is. I saw about 2 dozen Fulmars today while in the middle of the pass. They seemed to keep well off shore and follow the general N.W. movement of the Scattered shearwaters.
