Gilmore 1931 CRESTED AUKLETS (3) To be little doubt that they were Crested Auklets. Just what caused this sudden extermination of birds is uncertain but it seems likely that it was not due to bad weather. He also states that Crested Auklets are rarely seen as far east as Uralaska Do.
