498 Gilmore Pallas Murre O 1931 June 16 Nome, Alaska One specimen (1613) shot from ship as it swam near. Seemed To be a sick as it was alone and in poor condition. June 21-July 12, Sevoonga, St. Lawrence Is., Bering Sea, Alaska - Common nesting bird. Found resting on all the sea cliffs in considerable numbers. All seem to be Pallas's. I have my suspicion there are some Calif Murre in the bunch. Around the rookeries they may be seen flying around in small groups or singly or in pairs, but away from the nets the flocks are generally larger. Perhaps these larger flocks are feeding flocks. Point Hope Arctic Ocean, Alaska. Tigrata Augr. These birds are exceedingly numerous here & natives say they breed in great numbers on the cliffs of Cape Lisburne & Thompson.
