483. Gilmore Sabine Gull (?) 1931 June & St. Michael Alaska Very common on ponds back of town - quite fearless of approach. July 12 Sevoonga, St. Lawrence Is., Bering Sea Alaska. Saw several during whole stay on island. Near Camp Collier I noticed a pair flying with the Kittiwakes + later out the beach at Sevoonga a pair (Deslected due) were seen foraging. Saw a single individual (immature?) from the ship at Kotzebue. July 24. Point Hope Arctic Ocean Alaska Aug. saw a single individual on a small lagoon at reindeer camp. Its invasion was vigorously disputed by a couple of Arctic Terns who failed in the defense of their territory for the gull finally lit among the grass water but the edge of the tundra. Aug. 7. On small lagoon near beach I saw about 100 of these birds. They were sitting everywhere on the water or feeding on the leeward side where
