1931 Dec. 26. Akutan Pass, E. Aleutian Is.
Noted in large flocks in Akutan
Pass while crossing. The trip of
the 7th also found them in the
jaws. On the 36th they lay in flocks
of from 25-75 on the rough waters,
apparently resting.
The white sides of the heads & the
black streak running down the back
of the neck were conspicuous.
