Gilmore PINTAIL DUCK (2) 1931 even be found in the slough that passes directly thru the center of the village. I saw one bird killed out of a flock of three that lit not more than 50 yds from the bridge. When the birds are on the sloughs ponds they are very easy to stalk from the shelter of nearby hammocks of low setg rolling elevation, and the natives get quite a few with thin black powder shells. Several times have seen flocks head directly out to sea toward the Siberian coast. Oct. 31. Saw no Pintail Ducks nor around the Aleutians, nor heard of their ever being here.
