377 Gimrose Snow Goose 1931 June 15, Nome, Alaska Flock of 7 seen flying 200 yds over town - black wingtips conspicuous. Sept. 1 St. Matthew Is., Bering Sea. - Picked up a wing on the south slope of Cape Glory of Russia. It appeared to be the remnants of a foxes meal. Perhaps it is the wing of a Pacific Eider. Oct. 28 D.W. Grist, in a recent letter from Severnaya St. Lawrence Is., reports that Snow Geese are just beginning to arrive. (That was in early Sept.)
