Calyx lobes v lvs ciliate. Fl 1/2 in broad. 4-22-29 "Verbeno venosa" by Miss Wood Woodbarn "the same that has been wild" Mrs Allen Davis, 1/4 said the wild verbena had been cut into three gardens. V. venosa, Kil v Hook B.M.J.C.P. 639 evidently V. rigida. Spurge BFJ/B.8.11. Infr consists of 3 spikes with 2 outstanding bracts. Middle spikes sessile, lateral spikes on peduncles 1/4 in. Tube 1/6 in long. lent 3/6 in across. ? X 4-22-29 Chrysina miniata, Regel, B.M.J.C.P. 181 Fl. Woodbarn. Flo 10 in umbel. 3 arising from base of ovary. Fl soft glaucous, the segs inside a soft yellow in middle & whitish on edges. Stamens 6, unequal length, the longer coming to within 1/2-3/8 of top of broader seg.
