Clump of green palm 10 + ft. many slender stems even LV paninate (14-19 pairs) lfts which are not always exactly opp. 2ft. rather broad base not definitely pinnaled at base as in Phoenix or Coco. Rigo on 6in apart at base to 1in apart higher up. Fr. panicles well below lro. 4-29-29 Xyophyle = Ceriferae Plant in Endler Plant is label at St. Geo P.8 or Nucleantecia platelada, Lindau. p114. ? 4-25-29 Amphiplocae Castalia gangitis errais Butter p135 see BMJCP 270 Blue naturally at Miss Hunters lbo not stated. Lf almost circular a little longer than broad. 1ft drain Edge wavy, slightly crenate scallop ed. Basal angles sharp (ie not rounded) but not produced or ac-cuminiate. Lvs floating along particles (4-29-29 some of the lodes had curled themselves up partially out) water. Fl well raised above water. Flrb same as 4-6-39 w/ these lvs help verify the description then suggested. x 4-29-29 Passiflora laurifolia L p 252v BMJCP 511 Miss Hunters "edible passionvine" "Fl mauve. Filletos, turn deep purple with yellow flesh inside" says James H. Lf 4 3/8 x 2 3/4 in o long. with short acute apex v cremate base, coriaceous, entire Petiole 3/8 in with 2 glands at top.
