Par-la-Ville Fd the same sp thought to be Achnranthes Bellvidiana, Britton p.121 or 1-21-29 = Telanthera -- Regel BM J.C.P.253. But in dried flo can - not see the staminal tube desc
BM J.C.P. but in fresh flo stamens are seen united part of length into tube which bears also "style points" or rather thin blades somewhat lacera at apex. Sepals white with dark outside veins being outside toward the edges body (not inside hairs as send 1-21-29)
4-19-29 Chrysanthemum coronarium L p.406 BM J.C.P.359. From Mrs Smith (flower woman) Fd to 2 1/2 in across. Rays light yellow, darker yellow at base, disk yellow. Dried flo not at all curled as one C. Carinatum tho rib some times prominent. Pelvises not winged. Foliage similar to C. cinnabarinum but less narrow in its divisions.
April 1929 "Synadenium Mantei, Hook. p.219 Norfolk. B Entrance path at east side of field of poll overtook. Same as 2-2-29 St. Georges Public Garden (so that is remembered). Dodeca reina very conspicuous on upper side flo.
4-20-29 & Delphinium Ajacis L BM J.C.P.283 (see 4-10-29 for notes on double forma) From Mrs Smith (flower woman) Single flo have only 1 sepal petal whose l apex is inside after of Calyx. Stamens 14-16 Filaments with 5 flat flws closely encircling ovary. Various shades of blue, white & lavender, the petal whitish in some kinda tho sepals are colred.
