Style not long. 4-17-29 Cuphea platycerca, low BM(C.P 538 flowered but not shed. leaves lanceolate to obov. lanceolate. pin long, sharply acuminate, narrowed to distinct petiole. Flo solitary. slender pedicelled calyx tube x in long slender, dark reddish spurred bright red but with darker ring around the white mouth. Petals none.
