Stamen has some long silky white hairs as well as being minutely scabrous or roughened with minute hairs. X 4-17-29 "Cynoglossum fuscation" labeled Fl Agri FX [illegible]. Racemes not bractid is just in axils of the lvs which are on or st. among the racemes Calyx lobes spreading so that young seeds are early visible. Fl lovely clear blue. Lvs soft to touch (see both) X 4-17-29 "Anchusa Capensis" labeled Fl Agri FX [illegible]. Racemes not always in axils of lvs. Calyx lobes closed & swelling around young fr. Fl dark blue with white stamen Lvs rough to touch. But subs noted a fl red margined as desc BMJCP623 see if this is A. Could this be le speciosa BMJCP5514 BFJB 267 or pars de desrupta ? Prob. le speciosa Nutt.
