Transcription
"Proglauus. Pet enlarged at base &
petiolate 1/4 in. short with same
aspect as the enlarged base of petiole.
Lfts ovate, lower pair 2 3/4 x 1 3/4 in., the
rest about the same size 6x2 1/2 in.
entire, sub-acuminate but blunt
at apex, obtuse or rounded at base.
Blades petiolate minutely pubescent
(not evident to eye or touch) firm,
dark green & somewhat leathery look-
ing above, lighter below; the many
pinnate veins close together, almost
parallel & noticable esp. as if dry.

pinnatifid into linear acute
& simple lobes, the rachis striped;
corolla white or blue on same
plant (perhaps opening white
turning blue); 1 3/4 inches. Plant
not observed elsewhere in Bermuda.
