Southlands. (Same as tree so named
at Legui. Stat.) Pod 3½ in overall. At
base a delicate ridge encircles it
halfway around, at apex what
seems to be remains of almost
completely pelbate stigma folded
into the edge of pod which bears
the seeds. Green pod 5 long which
bears it (prob. racios) infl. Inner
his minutely puberulent.

Died. Saw at Base 7 flo at base of
pole have a pubescent look. F.L. american

bright yellow. Perianth (1½ in late
& stiff) twice smaller than A. americana
d 2-26-27. Flower all 2¾ in., vary at this
spot 3¼ in. Style projects 1½ in beyond
perianth ¼ in more less beyond
filaments which are slender through-
out. Perianth segments mass
3⅓ mm wide almost uniform throu-
but lengths, much narrower than
sinuses but broader than filaments.
Perhaps the same as at 3-11-27.
Base of vary (as it had fallen) oblique.
