(See 1-7-29) Seeds along stalks but not curled up "instead they are regularly somewhat of cubes & fill space inside narrow pod. Pinnae 1 to 2 pairs. Lfts ciliate. 2-27-29 Musa Cavendishii, Lamb. p85 VB MGC P 201 Fl. Garden appearance to Montreal. 2-27-29 Raphanus raphanistrum, L. p 154 Fls unripe fr near above. Longest pods to 2½ in with 7 or 8 seeds. But fls now white/pink show no earlier yellow shades (even in bud). Pods along stipulated lines but not really "grooved" At this stage tuftos readily splits segments thru the color partitions betw seeds. 2-28-29 Linum usitatissimum L. p 195- VB MGC P 440 Fls fr Rosedale just west of Empire Bar, 19 in high. #199 LH 2-28-29 Achyranthes maritima-Studly p121 Fls fr. Fragment at Port Royal Cove. Cultivare seem 1-celled &ce fused. #151&4 #152 NYBA4 2-28-29 Galium ______ Same species and from same spot (in front of wall of Fairway View) as 2-20-27. Fl pedicels fair long but fr. pedicels lengthened to ½ in, stipes & recurved. Fls unripe fr. Fr at this stage about 3/16 in diam. Lvs 1-nerved, the weak lobes on margins not retorse. Spce fused. Plant
