Bermuda 1-20-29 Panicum maximum, freq. p. 17. Frequent en route to Elbow Beach. Nodes (of young growth) & ligules hairy. 3rd leaf sometimes bearing of flowers dense. Gunner Glass, F2. x 1-20-29 Panicum dichotomiflorum, freq. p. 17. En route to Elbow Beach. Anthers beauti- fully orange. (2) Young, upright, delicate. 12½" (seems to be short from base of old stem) (4) Old. 3¾ ft. decumbent, lower ⅓ naked, surface third near the tip bushy branched. ligule hairy.
