sml 14 long fine paniculate spray.
Fls with lobd v only few raceb left.
Corolla seems to be funnel form about
5mm long. Stamens 5 with anthers readily
sessile near base of corolla. Calyx 2mm.
depth & slit is about 1mm deep. Superior to
calyx is spherical ovary divided lower
half is tubed v seems persistent while
upper half (as seed matures) is thin
v [partially] circumsessile. Ellvary
seems 1-celled (no sign of partition)
with 4 orange-seeds shaped seeds
attached at base. Style very short, atigma
2 lobd. Corolla in withered condition is very
dark colored. Sits on ovary at line between
lower v upper half. Capsule not hairy.

alt. deep v 1-2 in less deep. Petioles
with upeward pointing spines. St.
scruffy. Fls among bd. St at root
4½ ft high. L 602 ft diam. Not by this
name in Batters BMJCP.
