Tract at base of stalk & terminal leaf an one bracted at base of styled & lat. lfts as in all. 4-13-27 Passiflora p.251 White f/ at Hockington House, nearly open. Periscale camouflaged from above by long linear appendages 21/2"L. Death of the sample as one studied earlier. 4-13-27 Rubus p.165 Rhts Clare Hills Hotel just beyond junction. Rubus fruticosus, Mcdx &c Dewberry. Very slender stems trailing. Flacily curved wth calyx recurved; stamens intermixed wth bristles (otherwise glab). Pedicels nudato 5 peduncles, recurved proclads. Lvs 3-folate, pinules less long mediate, thin folions. Peduncles arising from leafy axis 1/2" in axils of leaf bracts, f/ short 1/4"m racem. Calyx puberulous.
