apert. 4-20-27 Burbit House, Poynter's Hill. Floe-diffe (but wth at least one flower mixed wth foliage) very bright salmon pink wth white border. Very pretty. Present fibrous as recorded p.9? Rite Britton on p.96. 4-13-27 Citrullus Antiquinum, 1 Swallow, p.202. Types Dolis, Siedese C. vulgaris except petals wth lightly mangled "cuplike calyx" is very flat. Petals % length; plainly dotted green on back (dottedless calyx) figma very achely. Filament a short var. no aquaria. 4-13-27 Phaseolus lignosus, Button w/ Bermuda Bean. Located at Mr. Bourne's just west of Causeway. Standard gracile and flattened back, incon- spicuous w/out % length & bright lateral petals. Petioles w/hairbrush and spirally twisted. Tract at base of stalk & terminal leaf an one bracted at base of styled & lat. lfts as in all. 4-13-27 Passiflora p.251 White f/ at Hockington House, nearly open. Periscale camouflaged from above by long linear appendages 21/2"L. Death of the sample as one studied earlier. 4-13-27 Rubus p.165 Rhts Clare Hills Hotel just beyond junction. Rubus fruticosus, Mcdx &c Dewberry. Very slender stems trailing. Flacily curved wth calyx recurved; stamens intermixed wth bristles (otherwise glab). Pedicels nudato 5 peduncles, recurved proclads. Lvs 3-folate, pinules less long mediate, thin folions. Peduncles arising from leafy axis 1/2" in axils of leaf bracts, f/ short 1/4"m racem. Calyx puberulous.
