2-25-27 Citrus vulgaris. Perso p 201 Bitter Orange. 4 leaves white dots on back dark dots beneath veins marked up. Tront quite entire but dots along edge makes it look much less so. Veins anamorphous as seen clearly from back. Twojos ridged 2-26-27 Papaver dubium. L p 143 Long amors fruits poppy. Hill back 2 flecks 2elips. Dikmatic hairs 8, Petals ocelit with no dark spots. Capsule in hed 3/4 in long. Hairs on the stem (20 x) are minutely torahd. 2-26-27 Cerastium vulgatum L or moscan p129. Hill back 2 flecks Selip. (Recalls 2-8-27) In my app. more like C. vis-capra to group only 2 flo. Ped. 4mm. v Calyx 5 mm. But petals are larger than Calyx and Capsule is slightly curved upwards 2-26-27 Valantia ludida p 306 - Infs. peduncles lengthen & broken Radicels from 3 above the center one reflexed v bearing 2 globular fruits considerably small petiochons. 2-26-27 Agave p 50 A. americana L. ? but not variegated as possibly A. barbodensis Trel? Mature flowers on road bet. So Rd & Middle Rd Pigeon (or Warrick) west ? Portage store. Trle 25 ft (?) high, trees covered with bright yellow bloom. Bin buds standing erect at top. Pedicel 1/4 in. Tube 1 to 7 ad. 6 lanceolate segments making calyx 2 1/4 to 2 3/4 cm. overall. Stamens borne on tube, perigone Filaments dont cuticles 3/8 in middle hairs & attached in exact center. Stigma over not longer than stamens 3 lobes. Stigma 3 lobed & . Ovary inferior in tube 3 celled. Ovaries flat v closely packed Perianth lobes narrow v pointed & no broader at apex than filaments. Sessile 1/4 to 3/8 in across.
