"Datura evidently irreg in no. 1 parts & yellowed, quite age. Bud opened, stamens to allow even larger so. Stigma parts and stamen. 2-5-37 see Dombeya 3 CGH v BMJC.P Name given as "Asonia" Exhibit at Garden Club. Inflo. only. Said to have come from Bermudianis. Inflo. an umbel about 20 flo. [illegible] bracted. Flo. with hairy pedicels 1/4in. to 1 3/4 in long. Bracts & bractas can be determined? Sepals 5 lanceolate, hairy, pale green, united at base. Petal pale pink profile 2 1/4 x 1/2 in flattened on one side - thus: Stamens numerous, mono- delphous in 4 line, long stamens to be one-celled & another Samal column seems to be fringed with five with filamente projections beyond stamen. Stigma 5 distinct lobes, curled. Lower part of style pubiscent in stark. Under very hairy. 5 celled ovary several times in each cell. Sepals calycineous. cells diamond shaped & not flat - rather pear shaped. Part helping to Malvacene or closely allied family 2-22-27 Fr. Bonander late Fr. thins 3/4 in high, stony pubiscent 5- celled, more than one cell on each cell seeds small.
