P&S eastern ridge bit Hotel v Alpine Garden. Keys in Cote and SUT I point to K. Base fat. Clumines-thickened (not tub-ble) asill Cote v Bon, and sheathed in net f fibers (ie. fibres ± cross-cros.) St+12½cm overall, strongly geniculate at lowest node (2cm above base), conspicuously velvety pubescent between upper fl base and midfl (ie 3½-4cm). Blade v sheaths glabrous (except blades slightly roughened medges and at base) Blades, cap on sterile shoots, a very few long stiff blade hairs on edges of Blade. Blades? sterile shoots about 1½ mm wide. St. live the same but now dried v setaceous. Inff 3cm long, slightly lobed at base but as the whole compact v spicate. If Infl. shining because scarious character of palea & glumes v lemma. Glume def. hairy (sometimes more so or keel) and lemma also hairy toward top. The two flo not always developed.
